You may have heard already about the new line of tools from Microsoft called Expression:

• Microsoft Expression Blend - professional design tool for creating engaging web-connected experiences for Windows.
• Microsoft Expression Web - professional design tool to create modern, standards-based sites that deliver superior quality on the Web.
• Microsoft Expression Design - professional illustration and graphic design tool that lets you build compelling elements for both Web and desktop application user interfaces.
• Microsoft Expression Media - professional asset management tool to visually catalog and organize all your digital assets for effortless retrieval and presentation.

Some training (tutorials, web casts, training videos, etc.) are available free of charge from the Microsoft Expression Knowlegde Center.

If you are a beginner, you have to definitely check www.lynda.com where they host a number of sample videos, some free and some for a fee. Here are just two of the free trainings:

I hope you will find these useful. The videos are not meant to make you an expert on WPF, nevertheless I am sure you will find this experience enjoyable at least.
